  • Use Sockets that are Theft-Resistant and are Lamp-Specific So That Only the Right Bulb Will Fit
  • Use Reflectors and Consider Removing Bulbs from Fixtures
  • Regularly Clean Lenses and Louvers (Dirty Lenses Can Absorb up to 33% of Light!)
  • Consider Group Relamping
  • Create Purchasing Specifications for More Efficient Bulbs and Budget/Train for Group Relamping
  • Assign One Person to Be in Charge of Lighting System Maintenance and Regularly Train Him/Her
  • Clean or Repaint Walls to Increase Light Reflectivity
